Can you believe it's October 1st already???? I think it's time for some fall crafts.... I am looking for recommendations for Halloween treats and things.
I feel inspired to be crafty this weekend.... Here are the potential options for what I am going to be up to this weekened:
1. Creating Fall/Halloween treats
2. Painting ... my kitchen walls are empty, I think I need to spruce them up
3. sewing :) maybe another apron or two;)
all of this will be done while watching College football! I have to say, this is my favorite time of year!
Stay tuned for pics from the weekend!
have a great weekend!

My New Place
Here are some pictures of my new place:)
TV time
Living/Working/Sleeping
This city is fabulous and I am so excited to begin a new adventure! It has been so fun to decorate my own place. Thanks to the fam for helping me move and be settled in before my first day of work. More pictures to come once the project is complete:)

Ta Da!
This is the final apron for now.... Don't fall over but I think I need to get back to work:) I am moving in the next couple of weeks, so the sewing machine has been packed away.
Not exactly sure what the next Adventure of a Gibbs Girl is, but I do know it includes a new apartment, a new job, learning to refinish furniture (see pics below) and life in the big city! Looking forward to sharing my latest and greatest stories and crafts!
Have a great week!

Katie

HGTV... who needs 'em
So, I've spent the last two Saturdays pulling weeds and transforming Tante's plain patio into a gorgeous garden! Take a look at some of the photos below. I wish I had pictures of the hard space before to show you the enormous weeds!
Newest Edition
I really based the whole style around this button. It is possible to be obsessed with buttons. I am! Stay tuned for the Kelly apron (NOTE: this might be the last apron I sew prior to coming out of retirement, although, I keep saying that and somehow I keep finding new things to sew!).
